Family sponsorship

Canada allows you to sponsor certain relatives to come to Canada if you meet one the following requirements: - You are at least 18 years old.

- You are a permanent resident or a Canadian Citizen.

- You are registered as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act.

This means you can sponsor your spouse, common law or conjugal partner under the spousal sponsorship, your parents, grandparents or any other relatives if certain conditions are met for both parties.

Provincial Nomination Program

Canada has ten provinces and three territories, each has the right to nominate anyone who can fill a specific need in their local labour market (except for Québec who can select its own candidate). Prospective candidate can apply for permanent residency through provincial nomination based on the qualifications and eligibility. This program allows provinces and territories to support the immigration of individuals under the following criteria: - You have expressed an interest in living in their province or territory. - The province or territory finds that you will be able to contribute to their economic development and prosperity, as well as Canada’s.

Express entry

Express entry is an online system used by the Canadian government to manage immigration applications from skilled workers

Expresse entry manages 3 different immigration programs:

• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program

There are different factors that can determine your eligibility to apply for Express Entry, including:

• Your age.
• Level of education
• Previous work experience
• Language skills (English and French).
• Whether or not you have a job offer in Canada
• The perception of your likeliness to adapt well in Canada.
